With his Hamilton Strips, artist Paul Elia may well have
created a new art form—one to do with integrated media,
architecture, and community. While walking through the
post-industrial streetscapes of his Beasley neighbourhood, he fell in
love with the robust vulnerability of houses, factories and stores
that had grown up together and outlived their heyday. He began to draw and photograph them. Join Paul Elia on a ramble that will
improve your vision.
